Sam Hunt is easy on the eyes and ears, but there's a lot more to this country crooner on the rise. Growing up in rural Georgia, Hunt first received recognition on the football field as the quarterback of the University of Alabama at Birmingham team. While he did get a try out with the Kansas City Chiefs, Hunt's real passion had been music for a while. Upon arriving in Nashville, Hunt cut his teeth writing hits for some of country's most famous musicians, such as Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban. He was able to make a name for himself in that music town through his song writing, which helped him gain the attention of Universal/MCA Nashville. Hunt now has a gold record under his belt and released his album Montevallo. 2014 was a big year for Sam Hunt—playing festivals like Bonnaroo and a spot on Good Morning America, just to name a few. Look out for Hunt on the Lipstick Graffiti Tour all across the US in early 2015.
